Hurricane Vic (the grey/blueish roan) I purchased last weekend from Rich Barber. Vic is a 3yr. old walking machine. Looking forward to what more comes from this boy. Will get better pictures soon. And the buckskin is a 3 yr. old stallion TWH that I'm 99% sure on purchasing very soon. His name is Stoney and he'll be gelded if not when he gets to KS. Thanks for letting me share. Also will tell more later but I'm breeding our Josey x Nuke female Ivy (pedigree below) to Chisholm Creeks Jax OrBetter"Jax" as now so hopefully will have an upcoming litter for sale. Should be a nice nice cross.

Is the blue the one Rich went to KY and bought right before the allbreed last spring?
If it is and it looks like him he is a really nice horse.
Can you hide that pretty sucker in the woods?

WTH, I thought Richie was going to stud him out, if it's the same blue roan stallion he had at Reg. 5 and the allbreed that kept getting off his tie out. I can only assume he is gelded now? And he was a mighty fine looking machine, a big walker if I remember correctly.

Pretty sure Vic (the one Robbi now has) is NOT the same one. Vic has a blaze and the one Rich had at the all breed last spring had that real nice dark blue/black head and legs with the real smoke blue color. I tried to steal him!!! Both are nice looking horses.
Can't wait to see him in person.

No Vic isn't the stallion that Rich had purchased right before the All Breed & Region 5. He did although purchase this one in KY too. The stallion I believe Rich did breed some of his mares to then gelded and sent him off to the trainers. He said he's doing well but not sure he's had him at any trials as of yet said "Nationals may be it".
Sure I'll be able to hide both these boys well but will have to teach them to be on the attack for possiable scout horse theifs.

As long as I have known you I am sure you say that with a big smile on your face.
Do you remember me finding Slick on point at the allbreed that time?

That grey is one beautiful horse! You guys kill me when you post up these horse pix! Until I can afford the proper upkeep of one, I just have to suffer with seeing and hearing about 'em!

Well I've been riding Stoney my new buckskin for over a week now and had him shoed for the first time a couple days ago. He's doing awesome. I'm so looking forward to starting to train dogs off of him in the middle of December and then get him to his first trial the end of January. Vic is also doing well and is mainly out to pasture filling out and eating like a pig. My 2yr. old colt I broke out this summer "Sport" and also got from our friends the Wortmann's (where Stoney also came from) is also coming along as well. We have 5 nice young colts to look forward to trialing off of.
Hopefully I can do this but here's a video Keith did of me the day Stoney arrived. Now he is a little stiff in the backend in this video that is from being gelding and his 7-8 hr trip to KS. Enjoy and I'll keep you posted.
