I thought I would jump in and share a couple photos of recent hunts...

good looking pups i bet those birds are hard to see when they flush with that snow. and even harder to find after shot.

She is a very pretty dog I have seen there website all good looking dogs ! how do those white birds taste ?

Ptarmigan are a dark breasted meat. I like them but not as much as the white meat of a Hungarian Partridge or Ruffed Grouse. Better than a Sharptail Grouse or Spruce Grouse.
