ND Pheasant

Post by laxhcky4 » Mon Oct 24, 2011 7:34 pm

Just got back from a 3 day pheasant hunt in ND with my wife and pup. I ended up shooting 8 birds for the 3 days but could have easily shot more... if I could hit the broad side of a barn! haha and if I could have shot more than 3 birds in a day, oh well. All birds shot were shot over points and Stella did a great job. I was really impressed with how she handled them. She did bump some birds but for the most part she held steady to flush, relocated on runners and retrieved all birds to hand! My wife carried the camera and got some great shots. Here are a few.
