Tennessee Bird Hunting
Tennessee Bird Hunting
I am being offered a job in Murfreesboro TN. Anyone have thoughts or comments on both wild birds and preserve memberships available in the area? I cant find much on the internet. Matt

We have some memberships here at the club that are up for resale, but they are all equity based, so you have to buy a lot or cabin and get the membership package.

Also there is a place over in Estill springs that hosts a few trials, that you can check out.

There are a couple of other preserves around Nashville, but not sure how they are. There are some WMA's also, but not many wild birds at all.

Thanks all. Appreciate the time and comments. I am beginning to run out of gas on hunting birds at a preserve here in Ky. I have turned down a job in TX three weeks ago. Now being offered jobs in TN and NC. I never should have left SD.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Well I can't speak for West anMiddle TN., but there are grouse in huntable numbers and you can find woodcock from time to time in the high mountain valleys and an occasional covey of quail. I live in East TN. and hunt both N.C. and TN.

If you are ever interested in taking someone let me know. I would love the experience and learning and just going with the chance to get one and let my dogs have a chance at them. Would be willing to swap for deer, turkey or diver duck hunt if that interest you. I live in Huntsville and hunt below Sewanee, on the AL,TN line.
