HiFive kennels...

Just wondering if any has bought a dog or heard of a dog from Bruce Minard of Beulah, Michigan. Are his dogs bred well? How do they perform when trained? Have you heard anything bad?

The reason I ask is I plan on buying an English Pointer from him and just want to make sure I'm making a good choice. Thanks in advance...

I have purchased 2 setters from Bruce and couldn't be more pleased. I've been up to his place many times and have seen his pointers run in many trials. He's got some quality dogs, both setters and pointers. He's takes great care in his breeding program to get the best possible results. If you choose to go with a dog from Bruce you won't be sorry.

Here are a couple of pics from a spring trial in which my 2 setters placed and one of Bruce's pointers placed.

I've met and competed against his dogs at some trials.
I think he's a fine handler, his dogs very fit and well trained.
His High 5 kennels would be a good source for quaility dogs.
