For those that hunt Wyoming, what kind of boat do you use for waterfowl?
I recently moved to southwest WY from Alaska and brought my 1648 semi v hull (with tunnel) Jon boat. I have a Yamaha F40 with jet pump on it and I'm thinking of painting it etc for ducks. I already know the drawbacks with jets, just wondered how much of a problem it'd be in WY rivers and lakes.

I moved to WY from WA in 1996. Started out hunting w/decoys, then moved on to jump shooting--now very rarely.
Got to say I spend my fall seasons bird hunting for grouse and bow/rifle hunting big game in WY. I hunt ND, and ID and MT for pheasant huns and chukars. The waterfowling is not great, but there is so much else to hunt I can't say I miss it!
