NW Missouri hunt

I spent the day hunting public land in NW Missouri with a friend. 3 roosters seen, one shot, one bagged. Approximately 35 quail seen in 4 coveys, 6 shot, 5 bagged. One bonus swamp rabbit. I came across an area where I counted 20 pheasant roosts before I stopped counting. There are still decent bird hunting opportunities around here if you put in the time to research, scout, and the boot leather to find them.
