Central PA 2023

Post by StrAp44 » Sat Apr 08, 2023 11:38 am

As I sit at work I'm letting my mind drift and dream about the coming fall. New goals, old accomplishments, upcoming challenges, etc. This year I will be faced with a much more limited time in the woods and fields, as my wife and I are expecting twins in September.

Last season my ESS Rico and I surpassed our season goal of 20 pheasants. We didn't spend time grouse hunting like I planned, but did watch him flush one late this winter. I'm hoping in 2023 to get out at least once or twice here in Central PA for grouse.

We also recovered 3 out of 4 deer that we were called for (and accepted). I think 2023 will hold a lot of firsts and start a wild journey for me (in and out of the field)

Twins! Congrats. Sounds like you had a great year !

Only special people have twins.
Although it does make you wonder in the early years. Mine are 59 so it is getting easier........Cj
