All these pics are gettin harder to take!!! I sure do miss the northern prairies. This time of year it is pure nirvana, hittin the potholes early am, then chasin sharpies and chickens, and in a few weeks topping the day off with the Chinese invaders.

Great looking dogs and horses, your bringing back some great memories.

Thanks for the kind comments NVgsp, but I don't think I am ready to overtake Doug on the camera just yet. I will tell you this though, great country, great dogs and great hunting companions makes it alot easier to catch some good snap shots. Thanks again. Have a good 1. JW

BTW- NVgsp, pm sent.

JW the photo pansy!! It's contagious man!!

The dogs are looking good JW - kinda figured they'd go down the tubes after I wasn't there standin' around waiting for ya' to get out of bed every morning and get to it!! Keep it up man! Any reason to run down to the vet in Ekalaka again - let me know and I'll come go with ya'!!

Alex and I hit the opener this morning - I shot my camera and he shot his new Elmer Fudd gun. Zip, zilch, nada. The dogs can only do so much ya' know!

Pansy :?: :?: :?: I am not the one who's afraid of mice.  Good to hear from dude. Hope all is well out there in Pokey. Good to hear that one of ya stepped up and got a fudd gun. I talked to Alex the other day and he told me that he was taking his son out after some Sage Grouse. Didn't hear back to see how he did. Take care. JW

Not as good as they did a month ago. But that is ok, all of the dogs in my facility have been running on sharpies all spring and summer (minus a brief reprieve due to nesting). Have a good 1. JW

Dito NVgsp. It's a good thing there isn't anyplace to get a straw wrapper stuck in the shoot button on a camera right Doug.

I took the morning to chase a couple of my own dogs around. They both did very well. Had several contacts, 8 covey finds (with a back to compliment all but one, which the other dog was on point further down country), 3 stops to flush and saddly but true, a couple of bumps. All in all, it was a great time.
