I have said this before, as I sit here in a Manhattan office building on a cold, rainy day. That is SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, well if it makes ya' feel better, just about got skunked today!!! Stitch was gettin' 'em stuck OK but they weren't interested in being shot at flushing well out of range time and again. Finally one little bunch that musta had some knowledge of my shooting abilities decided to stay put and take their chances with some lead in the air. Scoots scored a total gooseegg, bagel, zip, zilch, nada. IME, Holiday Tuesday is never as good as Monday. Wednesday??

Those pictures are great as always! What a treasure to be able to have those holiday Mondays and have your Dad along with you. Memories that will last forever! Keep those pictures comin!

Same find, the best I could come up with before Alex got there and started blazin' away - my autofocus kept wanting to lock on the sagebrush closer to me and I was huffin' and puffin' so bad trying to keep up with Alex to get there:


They snubbed his tail too much but he looks great - reminds me of Dixey which got me thinkin'!

Thanks!! We had a fun month on the sharptails. We put some miles on the horses and more on the dogs.

Opening Day Sharpies 08- Alex and Smoke with the first find at dawn. The birds won this one:

Last Day 08 - Stitch deep in the country standing, never givin' up - he's in there if you've got some good peepers...the birds won these ones too!:

Wow!!! Your pictures are incredible. They make me feel like I'm there. Please keep on posting. Those dogs on the prairie are awesome. I wish I could be there. Hopefully someday I can.
