I always bring a camera but get all pumped with great bird wrk and never get it out. I did get a picture of my 9 mos old pointer pointing her first grouse. I didn't carry a gun and wala. There's the picture. You're right about the rain today I went north for grouse and it was going to be to cold to be rainy so I left the rain gear at home. It snowed so hard I couldn't see. Anyone who grouse hunts in clear cuts knows you get just as wet in snowy cuts as in the rain. I'm still freezing!!
