More chukars (pics)

Here is a few pics from last weekend Chukar hunt.
It was too hot and the birds ran to much but dang it was fun.

We saw a few of the locals on the way out.

This was a big old wild stud horse that had been run out of the main herd. He was with another young stud but I couldn't get very good pics of him. The main herd was about 3 miles back down the road

This hill was just loaded with Chukars but getting on top to hunt down was a little harder that it first looked.

But after we worked our butts off it all came together

We saw over a hundred birds in several different areas. The birds are doing great this year but I think they all had a late hatch because alot of the birds were young.

Great looking pup! I think we were hunting pretty close to each other. We need to get together and chase those birds around. I will send you a PM.

Looks like a fun trip. It looks kind of like an area that I go chase jack rabbits.

Argh  Your killing me seeing these pics.

I cant even go till Nov. My dads elk hunt took 6 days longer than it should have and I have another elk hunt to go on the end of the month so I have to work all the weekends so I can go.

Just wishing I was in your boots over the weekend

congrats on a succesfull hunt

Great looking antelope!
Looks like some fairly rugged county!
