Congrats,

Went out on Sunday but did not find any grouse. Did get up a big covey of quail and a couple of pheasants though. Gonna try again in a couple of days. Any tips on how to fix the grouse??

Marinate them in 7-up overnight. Pan fry the breast like you would chicken. Feed leftovers to dog. You may want to cook small portions because the leftovers will be plentiful.

Nice job!!

I'm hoping to get out for grouse/chickens in a couple weeks. It's been almost 15 years since I've made a trip for grouse so hopefully I'll see one or two....
