Congrats,
Went out on Sunday but did not find any grouse. Did get up a big covey of quail and a couple of pheasants though. Gonna try again in a couple of days. Any tips on how to fix the grouse??

Marinate them in 7-up overnight. Pan fry the breast like you would chicken. Feed leftovers to dog. You may want to cook small portions because the leftovers will be plentiful.hpvizslas wrote:Congrats,

I'm hoping to get out for grouse/chickens in a couple weeks. It's been almost 15 years since I've made a trip for grouse so hopefully I'll see one or two....
