north dakota duck opener 09

just go back in from my first duck seeson in north dakota, it was fantastic better than any ive had living in michigan. we shot 24 ducks between the 4 of us and 1 goose. the dogs did great and were really on there game. chasing down criples and my lab even dove after and caught a gadwal that decided to dive on him. just a great day of hunting all around.

Does your GSP do a good job retrieving ducks and geese? Also that was a successful hunt I'd say. Where area did you hunt around?

We just got back too. What a wealth of birds!! Limited in 45 minutes each day. What a ball!!

nice pics im still not getting manny greenheads we did get a couple canvas backs the other day witch was a first for me. also had a day were we limmeted out in about 5 min one flock came in and that was all we need phesant opener wasnt the best weather sucked did get one and let a buddy run one of my dogs he limeted out this morning
