what a great hunt

well this was scout's first for a few things. well we went to a local game farm and had 4 pheasants and 4 chuckers placed in a few fields for us. well this was the first preserve hunt he had been on and the first time hunting with another dog.which was a brittny and scout is a gsp and well all went great.

when we got there we were only going to hunt one dog at a time and well we ended up hunting both. well they started to play and horse around in the cut field. well as soon as we hit the the cover scout forgot about the other dog and got down to business. the other dog was running all over the place and never really hunted. scout ended up pointing 3 and flushing the rest. he also found 3 other bird that we didn't have put out :shock: . i was so happy. the only thing that wasn't that great was he didn't retrieve any of the birds but he did find every bird that we shot . ever one that was winged and landed over 80 yards away. and have no issue finding it. its just great to see him coming around!
