Couldn't find any wild birds,so did some training

Post by Troy08er » Sat Jan 16, 2010 11:43 pm

What a nice day to get out. Took the wife and kid out today looking for birds. I ended up calling a few stands for coyotes and didn't get anything to bite. Hit this area were we find a lot birds, but nothing today.I think the rain as the birds all scattered. On the way back I called a few of my friends to see what they were up to. They were picking up some chukars to do some dog training. I told them to grab a few for me, I just had to shoot something.

Sounds like you had a nice day out despite not finding the wild birds. Good looking dogs!

Great picture of your Gator. You should post that up on the general forum with all of the style photos.

Nice looking dogs. Great to see green grass as well, it's been snowing like mad up here and arctic cold.
