Great pictures sir, very nice dog kennel also!
Nikegundog,
Thanks for the nice words about my gun, she is a Special Order pre 1913 L.C. Smith, you have some serious taste in French Walnut wood.

Not a grouse, but my 2nd favorite bird hunting pipe:
A few from a rainy October day:
Somewhere around 40 straight days in the woods:
Not a grouse, but my favorite bird hunting pipe, a 2008 Nording Woodcock pipe:
On Halloween:
A quick double, actually the first and only true double I have ever taken:

Impressive Firemedic, nice pups and sweet pipe!Somewhere around 40 straight days in the woods
NC - The late season game is tough this year, heavy snow cover. Sounds like we hunt a lot of the same areas, maybe we can put something together this fall?
Re: Other Grouse
That is one of the perks of only working 9 days a month! I save up all my vacation time for mid September to mid November. And I also have a very understanding wife!
