Coldwater, Ks
Coldwater, Ks
Anyone familiar with the "historical" bird populations around Coldwater,Ks (South of Greensburg, N.E. of Ashland)? May have a chance to get on a lease in that area. Would really appreciate any information. Thanks
Re: Coldwater, Ks
Can be good numbers of birds, depending on the habitat and terrain. The further east of Coldwater you can get into hill and canyon country, depends on where it is, great turkey and deer hunting, can vary year to year.

Thanks Jarbo. I consider that some encouragment. Sounds like it has to offer more potential than what we have had in north Texas the last two years.

Thanks, got one coming back to you
Re: Coldwater, Ks
I know an hour or so east of there quail numbers were up last year. I don't think there are near as many birds there as there used to be, but it is slowly getting better.
