We've got a couple of honey holes that require 3 hrs travel each way, do that in 1 day if that's what you mean.

3 hours one way is the most I will do, if I can't turn it into a 2 day trip I can always find some waterfowl close to home

One spot I regurlarly travel 1.5 hours each way. The most would be 2 then I would stay over. Even if just in my truck, well at least when I was younger.

We do 2 1/2 hours regularly. Most I've ever done for a day is just over 4.

2 hours one way. Any more then that and I'm staying at least one night.
Edit: besides, why go out for a limit when you could come home with an in possession.

DS,
I travel around to Grouse hunt just about every year, having my own place in the mountains of Pa, on the northern tier, I can reach most places in New England in a day.
I like to stay at least 4 days for every day I travel, that way my hunting time is not wasted just driving around.
When I travel to MT or one of the other western states, I like to use a nice size RV and stay at least 5 hunting days. Hunting Quail down south is done in the same manner.
