Tomorrows Youth Hunt

Post by jkoehler » Fri Oct 21, 2011 1:30 pm

Taking my 11 year old daughter out tomorrow morning for the Nebraska youth opener. First time for her to carry a gun. Second year of hunting for the dog also so looking forward to the weekend. Hoping for pictures! Nebraska is trying something new, each adult that is taking a youth out is allowed to shoot one rooster so I will get in on a little fun also. Not too worried about it though would rather make sure my daughter gets one and my dog works for use.

What County you hunting? Its great you are getting your daughter out, wish i had a kid to take out here tomorrow. I am in Cherry County and seeing a mess of roosters in certian areas.

Good Luck and Enjoy !

Over in Nemaha (southeast). I had lived out in Frontier for 6 years and the pheasant hunting was amazing, not sure it will be anywhere near the birds around here.
