Opening Day Pheasant - Raystown Lake, PA

Post by QuailHollow » Sun Oct 23, 2011 3:20 am

Drake had an excellent day yesterday. Overall we had 8 hunters, 32 finds, and 14 birds (and a rabbit) brought back. The hunt took place on federal ground (Raystown lake) with stocked birds. Here is a pic of me and Drake:

This is my husband and his high-school buddies. Still hunting together after all this time:

Nice pictures, good looking dog ! Ya'll raise em big up there, we've got one of those PA monsters down on our preserve.

Lemme guess- Miller/Elhew ? or visa versa?
The second kick from a mule is of very little educational value - from Wing and Shot.

There is a little bit of Elhew in his pedigree. I bought him for $200 from the penny saver as a 12 week old pup. He's been an excellent dog.
Here is his pedigree: http://www.perfectpedigrees.com/4genview.php?id=3045

I like big dogs with a nice sized head and lip. Drake is 70lbs.
