Yes. They did ok at times. They got turned around in the sloughs a few of times. Did better in the CRP grass. A learning experience for all. They got the idea of what it is like to travel 14 hours. Learned to eat and drink when needed after a couple of days. Both pointed a few times (hens) and worked a couple of roosters. Can't wait to get them back into wild birds. My wife is hooked. She was a good driver and spotter.

where in South Dakota did you go? I was out by Webster earlier this year but there were very few birds, Were you on public ground or a preserve sure looked like fun

I was happy with my girl in KS she finally opened up and ran. I think we got some awsum pups for accidental breeding. Really glad you had a good time with your wife. I have tried for years, mine just isnt going to be my hunting partner. :cry:

My wife doesn't hunt. Just drove and helped spot birds. She drove the truck and blocked for me. She really had a good time. The pups did good in the CRP grass. Female likes to run, the male is going to stay close looks like.
