Hunt - New Years Day

Post by Brittlver » Mon Jan 02, 2012 11:07 am

Went hunting with my Cousin-in-law on New Years Day with a bunch of his friends on a game farm. I think we put out 15 birds and ended up shooting 18 or so. There were a few we missed that would have put the total well into the 20's. Lots of fun. Almost all the dogs were flushers so Molly didn't get to do to much but she did back any dog that was near her that found a bird. First time she has ever backed. Took our little one out and he did awesome as well, got so excited he didn't care about the shooting and ended up running to where ever the shot came from.

Sounds like a good time. Your little one just might be a real good one. Happy New Year!!!

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
