Are you a professional photographer? Is your gig falconing while on the clock taking nature photos? What a combo that would be!

Yes, I am a professional photographer, but Not a nature photographer, I do commercial advertising photography and I'm not on the clock while in the field, I do freelance photography work directly with my clients. So no one keeps track of my hours... lol

The 11 month old pups are coming along, we shall see if they have the run and the nose to meet the standard of the team, every 3 years I buy 2 new pups from different breeding and allow them to mature and socialize till they are 10 months old, then the soft training starts and usually by 18 months, one will prove a better choice for the falconry team and the other one is sold off, usually the deal breaker is range, the more the better, the older female "Anatum" has an average range of 1/4 to 3 miles while we course behind her in the truck with the rest of the entourage. She runs wearing a tracking/ beeper collar that notifies us when she is on point. Since we primarily hunt BLM land there is no end to the sea of sage brush that we can run her.
