Garmin DC-40 collar

I have a Garmin DC-40 collar that just quit working. It will not turn on or take a charge. The problem is not in the charger and I have cleaned the contact points. Any suggestions?

Will it still turn on and off?
I had one where the switch failed.

If you have another charger, you might try it. I had the same issue, and although the charging light was on, it wasn't recharging the collar. It worked fine after using a different charger. If that fails, Garmin is pretty good about helping you resolve it.

Send it back.

They will fix it or replace it in a jiffy.

Return it...they may give you a rebuilt collar.
You may be able to hold out for a new one.

I've had 2 do the same thing. Send them back. If your in a rush to get them, they'll send you a new one...charge your card and then credit you back when they get your defective collar. They gave me 2 new collars, not rebuilds in the exchange (so they told me).

I had a charger fail, contact points clean, it just quit working. I have another from a second collar so I never contacted garmin about the issue, surely they would send you another though.

Sounds like a failed battery.
