Chuckar, what to look for?

Post by bmcox86 » Sat Sep 08, 2012 8:37 pm

Just wondering if anyone could give me advice on what to look for when scouting out places to hunt Chuckar. I'm located in Washington and place on hunting around kittitas county. New to west coast upland hunting and any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Steep rocky slopes, a water source, and sage and cheatgrass.

In Nevada, We are looking for steep, rocky hillsides, sagebruch or tall grasses for cover, and a water sources within a mile.
