Hells Canyon Cast & Blast

Post by Willie Hunter » Sat Sep 22, 2012 2:51 pm

We are headed to the Snake River in Idaho for a float trip next Saturday. We are floating 4 days and camping 3 nights. This should be a good trip. The outfitter we are using said the chukar numbers are very good in this area of the Snake River this year. I have decided not to take any of my dogs on the trip due to my concerns of rattlesnakes :( . There will be 3 others dogs on the trip so I will just hunt behind the other guy’s dogs. I’m getting all of my gear ready this weekend. :D

Yeah bird numbers are looking good this year, huns and ruffed grouse numbers are high.
Reports are saying chukars are up also.
Hope ya have a nice float, interested to hear how it turned out.
