We are headed to the Snake River in Idaho for a float trip next Saturday. We are floating 4 days and camping 3 nights. This should be a good trip. The outfitter we are using said the chukar numbers are very good in this area of the Snake River this year. I have decided not to take any of my dogs on the trip due to my concerns of rattlesnakes . There will be 3 others dogs on the trip so I will just hunt behind the other guy’s dogs. I’m getting all of my gear ready this weekend.

Yeah bird numbers are looking good this year, huns and ruffed grouse numbers are high.
Reports are saying chukars are up also.
Hope ya have a nice float, interested to hear how it turned out.
