NE pheasant forcast?

Anybody heard how the pheasants look this year in Nebraska?

I have mixed reports as of this morning. I am seeing some small bunches of birds with color and more bunches of VERY small birds in that 14-21 day age group. Same from most of my landowner buddies Late hatch is better we may be lucky as we finally got some moisture to sustain the young ones

! My guess will be just below last years numbers.
