pheasant hunting

Post by Brooks Carmichael » Sun Nov 04, 2012 4:56 pm

I finally got rested up after the GSPCA Nationals and took my dog (NFC) Trey and Magic (10 year old dog) out pheasant hunting. I only hunted couple of hours but managed two pheasants before the Magic got into a skunk and that ended the day. I did see one 4x4 buck come out of weeds and stand 50 yards looking at the dogs and he never did see me. Saw two does and a fawn in the same area. So all and all a good day. Now, tomorrow I will take out a couple of my other dogs and (my new pup and see how she does). I hope the rest of you have had as much fun hunting as I have.
