My son talked my wife into going on the club hunt with him. She has never picked up a shot gun or hunted. I took her to the skeet range to get her familiar with the shotgun for safety and practical purposes. After fighting her kicking a screaming she really enjoyed shooting clays and was not too bad at it either. On the drive to the hunt she admitted to being really nervous. This was also my pups 1st hunt. At the end of the day the wife had a blast and it was really great hearing my son coaching her in the field. I think she is finally realizing her baby is growing up to be a young man. The folks at the club were just great and even let her use a youth model a few time instead of the big ole 12 gauge. She loved it so I may be in the market now for a youth model semi lol. I have to say its club events like this that really get that flame started in the youth and ladies. My wife now understands why I do what I do with the GSP pup. Which by the way he did extremely well and I was very happy with him!! Great Club and members.
