Last day of hunting for the year....
Well, i drug myself out along with my young britt with a couple friends for a last chance at revenge on the red legged devil birds till next fall......Hunting was tough, walking was tough...But the dogs did good and a few coveys were found. I even remembered the camera to snap a few photo's....
A couple of scenery shots....
And of course my favorite pic of the day......My favorite thing in the whole world......There is nothing like popping over the top of a ridgeline a few minutes after your dog disappeared over the top and looking down the other side to find her locked on pointing standing a covery of bird.

Nice, great looking country.

Wow. Very nice. But it looks like that country would be tough to hunt in later years.

here is another pic of the nice scenery....this is looking back towards the starting point of our hunt, which was along the river just to the back right of the photo....BTW....I am a little sore today...But its really not as bad as it looks...And when you start getting into coveys of chukars you really don't notice anyways...
Re: Last day of hunting for the year....
Great stuff. The first time i went on a chukar hunt with a buddy (two years ago) i knew i had to have a dog. He's five months now, next season cant come soon enough...

Awesome! My last day of hunting was ruined when the road was closed and I had to turn around and head home.
Love that country and nice looking Britt.
