Old Dogs and New Seasons

Post by Chukar12 » Wed Aug 07, 2013 12:26 pm

Sometime in the not too distant future I will have an empty collar. This morning a marine layer and an ocean breeze blew leaves around and promised while warning that fall was coming, it made me think of the beginning and ends of seasons. I dug up a couple of old dog pictures...I would love to see yours.

This was from the last season of hunting with my old Gordon, gone almost 3 years now.

Don't know why this site cuts off the sides of my pics.

Lost my boy Tex two years ago. Not enough run for a trial dog and a little hard-headed for hunt tests but he was the best hunting buddy I could have ever asked for. Finally ready to take the plunge and get a new pup.
