Ok does anyone have an alternative to the huntingpsmaps for determining land ownership? I have one for the state I live in and its great, however I need some maps for OR, ID, and NM...and im not going to spend $300 for SD cards for my Astro.

Any suggestions? Maybe BLM offices?? Will they mail them?

They usually have free data you can download.

The BLM has 1:100,000 maps for the states out west. Here is state office address in Idaho. Most field offices also sell them. I would call and get the current price and see if they will mail. I believe the state offic public rooms will.

Dave again! Have you also look at the state atlases by Delorne they are based on the BLM map showing land status.
