Thanks for sharing your hunting adventure. Hope your buddy was OK with you swinging your muzzle past his head on the last bird. Enjoyed the dog work, but have to say, I winced at the gun handling at the end.

Based on the last 2 seconds of the video Im pretty sure Id never hunt with you with the risk Id take in getting a gun swung over my head.

The pup shows promise but is by NO means a broke dog. Not what I am looking for although most hunters want the "polish" that I require. Some of the "swinging the gun comments" are founded although I cant say I havent done the same to shoot a bird that has gone a different direction. How can you shoot the bird without swinging through another person. The thing that startled me the most is when you shot BETWEEN two other hunters. I wouldnt worry to much about it though since you posted this to an internet forum and everyone is an expert with an opinion. Glad you had fun!

Thanks everyone for the positive and negative feedback. This is by no means an excuse. This was my 25 year in a row to hunt Kansas. I have hunt with the same 2 guys for 16 years in a row. 3 people and only 3. we know where everyone is a all times. we are always talking in the field. When the dogs go on point we talk about every situation that may happen when the birds flush.

as for the comments about the dogs. I won't go there.

No crititcism here on the dog work. Very nice dog work. Please take the negative feedback on the gun handling to heart. I watched your other video on youtube and was horrified. You Sir are very close to having a bad day in the field. I quit watching after the first 5 minutes. No bird is worth having to answere to why you shot a hunting buddy. I just hope you start to see how bad it is and correct it. Gun should not be shouldered if you see or think a person, dog, or obeject is there. Be safe and good hunting.
