Traditional Thanksgiving Day Hunt!

Post by mrtyde » Thu Nov 28, 2013 12:35 pm

My dad would always take me out hunting on Thanksgiving morning and I've continued on with my boys. Anyone else make it out?

Thanksgiving 2013 Branched Oak hunt 002.JPG
Three of us went out this morning. We ended up with 6 birds :D (but didn't shoot real well  ). Pictured above is Shooter's 3 birds---the dogs enjoyed the hunt more than we did :!: :!: :!:

Nice hunts fellas.

Dad, brother and I go duck hunting every Thanksgiving, always a great time. 14 ducks while freezing up isn't bad, Taz was hoping to at least make December before breaking ice.

Did make it out pheasant hunting on Wednesday, way better than I expected, would of been happy with a chance at one bird.
