Chukar/Huns near Cody, WY late December?

Hi, any good public ground in the area and would late December be too late to hunt them? Thanks

If near is 50 miles or less then you are out of luck.

I can drive. How far would I need to go you think? Would Sheridan or Jackson be better?
Or should we go to another state?

I don't think Jackson area would be any good. Head south for Chukar

You might consider hunting valley quail in Nevada or Cali. Late December in Wyoming sounds pretty cold to me.
If you have your heart set on chukar hunting, Utah would be a better choice.
