Went out today in southeast Nebraska. Got into 4coveys and a dozen pheasant s was a lot of walking. But got a lot of shooting.good dog work on quial

The Missouri Hunting Spaniel Club and the English Springer Spaniel Club of Eastern Nebraska use to team up and host Eng Springer Spaniel Field Trials in that area. We would headquarter out of Beatrice and then run the trials in the Liberty Ne area. Always looked like some nice bird hunting in the area. However, looking good doesn't always produce birds. Never hunted up there, just played with the dogs in the field trials.

What kind of dogs are you hunting with?

There is alot of good ground hard to get on some. The pheasants are going to take a few years to come back. I have at least been seeing a few hens. The coyotes are bad this year I have seen them in about ever draw I have walked. anybody else had any luck around beatrice area. Happy holidays
