Got out chukar hunting with a buddy and our two youngish shorthairs. This is the first time Chance has hunted with another dog so I was looking forward to seeing him work. Belle locked up on what turned out to be a group of 3 birds that got separated from the covey during a flush from earlier in the day and Chance backed her very nicely (IMHO). Photo isn't great but tells the story. Being a first-time gundog owner, our first season has been so much fun!

Thanks for the compliments. I think he has real nice intensity on point, I'm learning to read his head and tail. This back screamed "birds!" I've a blast learning with this dog.
