Labrador Work Out

Post by Legband » Fri Dec 05, 2014 8:43 pm

My chocolate got a heck of a work out the other day on a great pond hunt.
And one of the mallards was packing a little bling.

Yes very enjoyable.
And I had some young fellas with me who had never seen birds finish that close before.
Sharing it with them was great.

Splendid hunt. Thanks for posting those terrific pics.

Why have I never seen decoys open-mouthed like that before? Interesting.

We have a calling Suzzie and preening or calling Drake mallard depending on how you rotate the head.
In both magnum and super magnum models.

And thx on the hunt.

He actually had another busy day today he retrieved 11 ducks and if the junior hunter I took would have been on it would have been two limits poor guy got rattled early when I sat one down just out side the decoys probably a 30 yds shot.
Kill him buddy " pow pow pow " it was a fine salute and he escaped unscathed lol.
He had a great time and that's the important thing.
