Gamble's quail AZ

Went and did a little quail hunting today with a couple of guys. Found a covey of about 20. We were able to knock a few down. Hic did a good job except he had a few run ins with some Cholla cactus. Those cholla are brutal.

I was fortunate enough to hunt Coronado National Park several years ago, the hunting was great.
How are the bird numbers these days?

I haven't gone to find any Mearns yet so I can't answer that question. There have been many debates on how it's doing. From what I hear the numbers were decent this year.

Very nice. I love hunting gambel they are a lot of fun. What unit were u hunting them in
