heading to north Dakota (Ashley area) pheasant hunting anybody got any reports? or insight on hunt locations or technique. I hunted there two years ago late season and had a hard time finding birds
we will have three pointing dogs, but will only be hunting them one at a time, only one dog is broke the others hopefully will find some birds to teach them

Re: North dakota Hunting report?
I hunt further east but have had zero problems finding birds so far this season. Bird numbers are up.
Bean harvest is done.....and they are working hard on Corn.
My only advice is be quiet. Birds get educated in a hurry. Don't slam truck doors, minimal communication between hunters and to dogs.
Good luck!!

I went to North Dakota recently and we almost got our max limit on 3 days/around 70 birds. They are out there. When we were there they were holding pretty tight. We hunted near Mott, ND
