pup did well today

Today I took the pup out and she pointed 2 grouse and held 1, I missed it, haha! There's promise for the 8 month old pup, and I couldn't be happier. Also got to do some porcupine aversion training when she tracked one but luckily it made it into the den before she found it. Took her over to den on leash and when she started showing interest we used the ecollar. Hopefully this helps. The older dog also did very well this weekend. Our grouse honey hole is unfortunately full of porcupines. Great day in the woods

thats real good for 8 months old iv had dogs at 9 months point birds that iv killed but still took a season or two to learn how to handel and hunt for grouse
