I'm planning a trip for this upcoming weekend for the closure of IA pheasant season and was wondering if it is worth the drive? I am from MN and have never hunted IA before any tip and help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Which part of NW Iowa? I have a buddy who went down & hunted public land last Nov/Dec and he said they saw a real good amount of birds.
