I talked to my buddy on the Colorado/Nebraska border and he said they got demolished by a hail storm. Lost massive amounts of crops and he figured it hit the pheasant population as well. I doubt it effected a large area, but it may slow him down some this season.

Used Kansas just 12 miles south of the Nebraska line, and I've been seen tons of pairs. In the last week or two I've been seeing young birds! Should be a good year!
