Kansas Hunting
Headed to Kansas tomorrow to do some hunting. Hows the bird population?
Re: Kansas Hunting
Hunting should be good this year in Kansas! Had reports of lots of birds throughout the state. I'm gonna go out for a few hours in the morning myself

Re: Kansas Hunting
Bird counts are up for the 3rd year in a row in most parts of Kansas, but the weather has been extremely warm for November. That always makes the hunting more difficult....but a cold front is coming in on Saturday....so you may nail it!
Good Luck

Re: Kansas Hunting
We hunted the north central part last weekend, an area we have hunted for 18 years. This was by far the most hunters I have seen in that time, several big groups too. We did not see the bird numbers we had hoped for.
Re: Kansas Hunting
Hunted north central today, first of a three day hunt. Moved 5 coveys, 3 of them had 15+ birds. 6 roosters and 5 hens seen. None taken.
Re: Kansas Hunting
Day two was much more productive. Met up with a couple of great guys that had us along on their private land hunt. I provided the dogs and we had a lot of fun.
