Heading to Kansas this weekend to hunt private ground between Russell and Hoisington. I talked to the land owner yesterday and he said it was a swamp. My hope is with the snow and freezing weather that started this morning will freeze the ground. Are other parts of Kansas as bad if we need to move to a different area??

It’s wet all over. Temps ahead this week are below freezing at night and at or above freezing daytime temps. Make sure you have a good set of MUD tires on your 4x4.

Bummer! Come back again and try a diff area of state. An hour either direction could be the difference. It’s spotty this year. Most years as of recent have been that way though.
