used to be great grouse hunting, don't know what went wrong there almost all gone not much opportunity you might have to go to preserve hunting
I'm from Campbell Co tn but spend bird hunting season in michigan because of the wild bird population,

Where in TN? I am in Hamilton County and have a place for grouse thanks to some local deer hunters.

We still have a Quail season here. Not sure why. We have so few birds I wouldn't dare shoot one.

I live in North Middle Tennessee. Between here and South Kentucky more than enough quail. Local farmer killed 300 birds this year.

Wow that is good news. Must be in Robertson County. I haven't heard about birds coming back in that area.

I’ll be completely honest, I have a job we’re I work the entire county and I don’t know of anyone with bird dogs except the one or two small preserves. Birds are plentiful. You gotta put in your work and miles but a limit is not not impossible by any means. Southern Ky is the same.

Most is private. We have several WMA that hold birds.
