2022-2023 Pennsylvania Rabbit Season

A couple of years ago I began filming my rabbit hunts with my two beagles Maggie and Molly. They will be 11 years old this spring and I liked the idea of capturing our hunts together so I could relive them someday when they are no longer able to hunt. Coming into this past season I wasn't sure how much we would get to hunt. Molly was having some back issues all summer and into the fall, but after a couple rounds of medication we were able to manage her pain and discomfort. I decided I would take her hunting for what could potentially be her last hunt depending on how her body reacted afterwords. Fortunately, she handled it really well and was able to hunt all season long and has been off any medication for weeks now and still looks great.
At this point I don't know how many, if any hunts we will have left as they continue to age, but I am grateful for all of the time we spent chasing bunnies together since I was 14 years old.
If you are interested in watching 2 old girls do what they love you can find that video here!
